MYSTRAN

MYSTRAN is a Finite Element Analyses, FEA, solver for NASTRAN input decks. It provides a way to perform static and modal analysis of structures using classical FEA techniques.

MYSTRAN Goals

MYSTRAN is a very evolved FEA tool that has many levels of activity. It is written in Fortran90 and uses limited set of external libraries to function. Input is in the form of a NASTRAN data deck. Output can be in the form of an F06 (text) or OP2 (binary) file.

Project Goals

Provide FEA NASTRAN capability.

Evolvability Goals

To extend the compatibility of MYSTRAN with NASTRAN. Increase the runtime performance and solution types related to FEA analysis.

Usability Goals

Mechanical Engineers will use this to solve FEA problems for a verity of problems from Aerospace to Civil Engineering.

Software Packages
